We all remember these seed pods from when we were kids; sometimes we called them helicopters and stuck them to our noses, or threw them up into the air to watch them fly. Something about them always caught our attention, maybe it is the reminder to play with wild abandon, to set yourself free. 

Our Founder and Lead Designer, Kate Shepherd worked carefully to preserve the mesmerizing wing-like texture from a Double Maple Key (or Samara as they are also sometimes known) from the soft earth floor at the forest's edge near her home in North Vancouver.  

Whether you wear this to work, on a kayaking trip, or our to a yoga class on Saturday morning, this quietly powerful necklace will be whispering giggles to you, reminding you who you really are.  

These heirlooms-in-the-making were handmade in small batches using traditional lost wax casting methods. They are sure to bring you decades of joy!
