A colourful butterfly brooch fashioned in Silver and backed in 18ct Yellow Gold. The wings are decorated with an array of sparkling Rose cut Diamonds and tipped with 0.08ct green Emeralds.

The body and head of the Butterfly are set with Rubies, the largest of which is 0.20ct with a fiery green Opal in the centre which is also 0.20ct.

The stones are Circa 1900 and have been re-set in a newer butterfly gallery. The brooch is highly collectable and inspired by the fabulous insect pieces popular during the Victorian era.
