The glow of simulated topaz is featured in this lovely antique Arts & Crafts brooch or sash pin with decorative openwork design by the D.A. Hart company, circa 1900.

The antique brooch consists of a brass or tompac base with rectangular shape, geometric cagework and leaf motif along the frame. 

It is set with a yellow amber glass stone, measures approximately 2&1/8 inches wide by 1&1/2 inche high, weighs 18.1 grams, and has a c-catch which is signed with the DA Hart logo of an “H” within a heart.
