This wonderful antique French Sterling Silver Butterfly brooch is genuine Victorian Circa 1900.
Butterfly or insect jewellery is highly collectable and was a symbol of good luck to the wearer during the Victorian Eras.
The body of the butterfly is decorated in rich Ruby red Paste Stones with white and blue Pastes adorning the wings.

The brooch is all set in Sterling Silver displaying beautiful French workmanship throughout.
